Motto: “Speak life. Live truth. Honor your fight.”
Let’s Be Honest… This blog isn't for the ones who’ve had it easy.
It’s for the ones who’ve been through it. The ones who know what it means to
smile while silently suffocating. The ones who have whispered, “God, I can’t do
this anymore” behind closed doors. I know that place. I’ve lived in that place,
and that’s why I created Treasurable Life, not to show off a perfect life, but
to tell the truth about the imperfect one I chose to fight for.
This
isn't about pretending. It’s about permission for you to be honest, to be
whole, to heal, and to live like your life matters.
Because it does.
The Scripture That Carried Me
“I shall not die, but live, and
declare the works of the Lord.”
— Psalm 118:17 (KJV)
It
reminded me that I wasn’t just here to exist. I was here to live, to speak, and to declare the truth, even when my voice was
shaking.
So
many people are dying in silence, emotionally, spiritually, even physically,
because no one ever gave them space to speak their truth.
Here’s
the raw truth:
Silence is where shame grows.
Hiding is where hope dies.
And you don’t have to live there anymore.
That’s
what Affirmation Tuesday is about. Not cheesy quotes or fake positivity, but raw
declarations for real people who are tired of faking it.
(Speak
these out loud. Speak to them from your gut. Speak to them like your healing
depends on it, because it just might.)
1.
I shouldn’t have to perform to be loved.
I
am worthy just as I am, not who I pretend to be.
2.
My story is still unfolding, and that means I’m not done yet.
If
I’m still breathing, there’s still a purpose.
3.
I will speak, even if my voice trembles.
I’ve
kept too much inside for too long.
4.
What happened to me was real, but it doesn’t get to define me forever.
Healing
is messy. But I’m still worthy of it.
5.
I am not too broken to be used by God.
He
works through wounds, not just the healed parts.
6.
I don’t have to set myself on fire to keep others warm.
Boundaries
are not betrayal. They are protection.
7.
I choose truth over silence, even when truth costs me comfort.
My
voice matters. My honesty matters.
8.
I will not die in the same place I almost gave up in.
I’m
moving forward even if it’s one painful step at a time.
9.
God is not afraid of my anger, my questions, or my doubt.
He’s
still here. And so am I.
10.
This Treasurable Life is mine, and I’m finally going to live it like it’s
sacred.
No
more waiting for permission. I am the permission.
From My Heart to Yours
If
no one else has said this to you lately, let me say it now:
·
You
are not too much. You are not too late. You are not alone.
·
Your
scars don’t disqualify you; they qualify you to speak to others who are still
in the fire.
·
Your
truth is powerful. Your voice is needed, and this life, your life, is Treasurable.
So
don’t shrink. Don’t silence yourself to make others comfortable.
Don’t die with your story still inside of you. You were born to speak life, to live
the truth, and to honor your fight, not just survive it.
With raw truth + relentless faith,
